Joseph Wargo, partner in our Atlanta office, was quoted in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on a recent court decision granting the NFL a temporary restraining order against unknown counterfeiters ahead of Super Bowl LIII.  While granting such relief is not common, “This isn’t the NFL’s first rodeo,” Wargo said. “I’m fairly confident they were able to provide evidence of what happened in the past to show the likelihood that it would happen in the future.”

On Saturday, January 26, 2019, Wargo French Singer participated in the 2019 Cycle for Survival in Miami to combat and cure rare forms of cancer.  It was an amazing ride supporting a great cause!

Wargo French Singer hosted a great panel discussion on January 24, 2019 in our Miami office regarding Long-Term Goals:  Good Habits of Strong Leaders.  We discussed topics relating to the habits leaders have developed that have allowed them to become and remain successful, challenges women face in corporate careers, and how to overcome these challenges by identifying and implementing good habits.  We enjoyed discussing these topics with our guest speakers, Dr.

Wargo French Singer recently obtained a published decision of the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals affirming its win on behalf of a client sued by a former vendor.  The trial court had granted summary judgment after finding all of the vendor's claims were barred by its own voluntary conduct.  On appeal, the vendor argued that its conduct was not voluntary, but the product of economic duress imposed by Wargo French Singer’s client.  However, following briefing and a hotly-contested oral argument, Wargo French Singer prevailed in a 2-1 decision.  Congratulations to
