On Thursday, April 27, 2017, Wargo French’s Miami office participated in the Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run at Bayfront Park, which drew nearly 850 South Florida companies this year. The annual event, produced by TeamFootWorks, is an initiative to foster corporate health and wellness and camaraderie in the workplace with proceeds benefiting local charities.
Wargo French’s Ray Tittmann and Ed Valdespino won summary judgment for their client First Mercury Insurance Company, in a ruling by Judge Koh that First Mercury is entitled to share the defense with Great Divide Insurance Company despite the “primary and non-contributory” language in First Mercury’s policy. The ruling was picked up by Law360.
